Why agencies are obsolete

Ahoy · 27/03/2026 · 1 min read

AI is not the point. Direction is the point.

Speed is useful when it is aimed

Anyone can generate volume. The hard bit is knowing what to build, what to skip, and what actually matters to the business.

Experience changes the output

Without direction, AI gives you plausible noise. With direction, it becomes a production engine.

What we care about

  • Shipping fast
  • Keeping the work commercially grounded
  • Avoiding process theatre
  • Building things people can actually use

Fast is only good if the thing works.

If a team can move quickly and still make sound decisions, the old agency model starts to look very slow indeed.
