Atelier Tools needed to ship a broad library of genuinely useful browser-based tools fast, while keeping the product coherent enough to support a paid Pro tier.
The challenge was scope control: a large feature set, a clear free-to-paid split, and a launch pace that favoured shipping over process theatre.
